Although there is such a restriction about adoptiong bully dogs, they need homes to. If you are interested in adopting a dog or mix thereof that classifieds as bull, you do not want to get discouraged if it seems like you have to jump through hoops and hurdles in order to actually adopt the dog.
The rescues and organizations just want to make sure that the dog is getting a good home and will not end up back at the shelter. Typically, with a regular adoption, you'll find numerous pages of paperwork, but with bully breed dogs, you may encounter home checks, references, background checks, and more.
