Choosing Cat Toys

When Choosing Cat Toys, you want to make sure that you choose the right toys for your cat that he will enjoy and will be safe playing with. You don't want to spend hours in the toy isle at the pet store, but you want to ensure the perfect toy(s) for your cat, so what you can do is watch your cat's regular actions and play. Figure out what he likes to do- stalk around, roll, chase, etc., then go from there.
You may find that the simplest toy, such as an empty roll of toilet paper or a ball of paper will thoroughly entertain your cat, but if you want to spend a little more, there are many toys in the market that can give your cat more pleasure than you would think.
You'll find that the plastic poles with feathers and fuzzy mice attached to strings will keep a number of cats entertained for hours. Laser lights, catnip mice, scratching poles, cat furniture, balls, and so much more.
When looking for toys, though, make sure that all the adornments and attachments are safely secured so that your cat doesn't accidentally swallow and choke on something that fell off the toy. Remember to carefully monitor your cat's toys so that you can throw out the ratty ones and replace them with new ones.
