Feed Your Dog EVO Innova

August 30th 2010 13:28
There are many different types of dog food that you can feed your dog, and the decision of which one you think is the best for your dog may be a hard one to decide upon.

I'm the pet parent who was prone to spending hours in the dog food isle at the pet store, trying to make sure that I was feeding my dogs the best of the best. What is hard, though, is choosing the best dog food from a pet store, as the options are limited as to what is really good at a pet store.

You hear, Hills Science Diet is the best, but if you dig down into it, it's not ideal any more, as a human grade company bough them out. The formula has been changed, and it's no longer one of the better dog foods.

The same goes for Eukanuba, Purina, Iams, and Pedigre... Just avoid them if you can. There are so many other options, but be careful if you notice that your choice of dog food has been bought out by some human grade company who may manufacture condiments, candies, or toothpastes.

The best thing to do, is to find a dog food that is privately owned. These tend to have the better formulas that are healthier for your dog.

For right now, EVO dog food is one of the best, but just watch out for the ingredient and nutrition labels, as Proctor and Gamble has bought Natura, which makes Innova, Evo, California Naturals, Healthwise, and Karma. Typically when the big companies buy the private labels, the formula changes. So far, the formula of EVO hasn't changed and it remains no fillers and low grains.
