I Welcome You and Your Pet
May 4th 2008 21:37
So I have tons of animal knowledge that ranges from reptiles to amphibians, birds to rodents, dogs to cats, and anything in-between.
I'll be posting information towards wettail in your pet hamster to caring for leopard geckos.
Anyone with a love and passion for animals, will be able to find no-nonesense help here.
And, if you have any suggestions, questions, or requests, I take them. I research any requests thoroughly and I write you a well written and helpful piece that will help you with you animal needs.
It may sound silly, but probably the number one thing American spend money on, besides gas and food, is their pets. So why not be as versed in the subject as you can be.
A little background about myself because who wants to take animal advice from a person with no experience. I know I wouldn't.
So to start, I have been caring for dogs all my life. I've been training them for over 2 years, now. I am well versed in dog and puppy care, as well as diet. nutrition, and all things dog.
I have an American Pit Bull Terrier, so you can bet I know TONS about the breed. You can count on seeing a good number of posts about the APBT. I also have a Yorkshire Terrier, so there's just one more experience towards nippy, yappy dogs.
I currently have 5 geckos species- leopard geckos, African fat tail gecko, crested gecko, gargoyle gecko, and Madagascar spiny gecko- in my care, as well as ball pythons and bearded dragons. My experience with reptiles exceeds 7 years, which includes about 3 years of breeding leopard geckos and 1 year of breeding crested geckos, AFTs, and gargoyle geckos.
I have sparse knowledge in cat care, but I have had a cat for some time in my past.
I've worked with pet birds, ranging from Parakeets, Cockatiels, Conurs, Finches, Canaries, and more.
I've raised and cared for chinchillas, hamsters, rats, mice, and guinea pigs, but I am also versed in ferrets, rabbits and gerbils. I can probably help you out with all your pet rat and mouse, chinchilla, and hamster needs, as these are my favorite small mammal pets.
Anyway, I hope that I have given sufficient animal experience so that you will take my knowledge seriously from a very experienced mouth. I will warn you ahead of time, but the majority of the information and help I will spread will be geared towards APBTs, pet reptiles, pet rats, and general dog care.
